About Us
SC Tech Comm is short for Sixth College Technology Committee, a division of Sixth College Student Council at UCSD.
We are programmers, no not the kind that stare at lines of code all day (although some of us do that too). We plan, organize, and host events for Sixth College that are in any way, shape, or form related to technology. Everyone else is welcome to come.
Our most popular event is Winter Game Fest, an annual tournament of videogames with plenty of free-play and prizes. We not only draw competitors from all six colleges here at UCSD, but across the state and even country as well! Check out our past event photos to see what it was like with hundreds of people competing and playing for fun.
We also plan to make our newest event, Geeks Through the Ages, a larger annual gathering of game systems and "geek" culture.
