Game Fest 08- January 12th-13th, 2008:
Held in UCSD's Price Center Ballrooms A&B, for this
event we had over 1100 people attend. It was a huge success, and there
were some great prizes for the tournaments and tons of games were given
away for free. We had 7 corporate sponsors giving away $8,000 worth
of prizes, and over 1700 bottles of Bawls were supplied to players for
free. We had 597 players enter the tournaments, with 28 winners, including
a $2,100 cash pot for the Super Smash Bros tournament. Players came
from all around San Diego and 9 other different cities, many from northern
California.
